SETUP / SUBSCRIPTION IMPORT

U8VPN Setup Guide

Follow the steps in order to import your subscription and connect your client. Already have an account or plan? Pick up at the relevant step.

Menu labels vary between operating systems and clients. This guide uses “subscription,” “configuration,” and “import” for common options; follow the labels shown in your user panel and client. Download the client and get your subscription from the user panel—there’s no need to look for installers or subscription links on other websites.

ACCOUNT

Create an Account: Set a Username and Password

Open the account creation page in the U8VPN user panel, enter the username and password you want to use, and follow the on-screen instructions. No email address is required; your account uses a username and password. Choose a unique password for this account and save it in a password manager so you can find it when signing in on another device.

After submitting the form, follow the instructions to open the user panel. If the form is still displayed, check the guidance near each field and make sure your username and password meet the current requirements. Don’t submit repeatedly before checking the result. If you already have an account, use the “Log in” link in the page header—you don’t need another account to set up an additional device.

Once you’re in the panel, locate the account overview, plans, and client downloads. The account area manages orders and subscriptions; the client establishes a connection on your device. They’re separate steps. Signing in to the panel confirms that your account is accessible, but it doesn’t mean your device is connected to an international route. You’ll still need to choose a plan, get your subscription, and import it into the client.

PLAN / BILLING

Choose a Plan: Check the Billing Method

Open the plans page in the user panel. First, distinguish monthly subscriptions from data packages, then compare the available data allowances. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date, not necessarily on the first day of the calendar month for every account. Check the cycle and usage shown in your account overview.

For data billed by actual usage, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages don’t expire and remain available until used. Decide whether you prefer a monthly data allowance or data that stays available until you use it. Compare billing methods as well as the order total. Video streaming and file transfers can use very different amounts of data; check your account after use to see your actual consumption.

After choosing a plan, follow the panel steps to place your order. Check the plan name, price, and payment method before paying. U8VPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT; available options are shown on the order page. Return to the panel after payment and confirm the order result and plan status. If the status hasn’t updated, check your order history before paying again for the same order.

All plans support unlimited simultaneous devices and Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux, with a 7-day refund policy. If you upgrade mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the panel for the exact result. You don’t need to understand how routes work yet. Once your plan is active, continue to get your subscription. See the plans and pricing page for full pricing details and the Terms of Service for refund conditions.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get Your Subscription from the Account Overview

Once your plan status is confirmed, open the account overview in the user panel and look for subscription options. The panel may offer one-click import or a copy-link option. One-click import attempts to open a client installed on your device; copying the link lets you add the remote subscription manually in your client. If you haven’t installed a client yet, get one in the next step, then come back here.

A subscription link isn’t an ordinary web address for browsing. It lets your client retrieve configuration and may contain account-related information. Don’t post it in public chats, screenshots, or shared documents, or enter it into unfamiliar online checking tools. To use it on another device, sign in to the panel on that device and get the link there—no public relay page is needed.

If you copy the link, switch to the client’s subscription or configuration settings and paste it into the remote address field. The example below shows the format only; it’s a dummy value that won’t connect and can’t replace the actual address from your panel:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

When pasting, check for extra spaces, line breaks, or explanatory text. Save the link, then update or fetch the configuration. Once imported, you should see a configuration name and a list of routes in the client. Saving the link alone isn’t enough; the client must retrieve its contents. If you see an unsupported format message, return to the panel and choose the import option for your client. Don’t edit the link parameters yourself.

CLIENT / PLATFORM

Import into a Client: Instructions by Platform

Open the client downloads section in the user panel and select your operating system. Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients are available after you sign in; iOS access depends on the active plan shown in the panel. Sign in to get your subscription. This page doesn’t provide installers or real subscription links. The steps below describe how to use clients that support remote subscriptions; button names may differ by device.

Before installing, check that the selected client matches your operating system and read the installation notes in the panel. If your device is managed by a school or employer, network permissions may be restricted by policy. Confirm that you’re allowed to install the client and add a network configuration. After installation, open the client before returning to the account overview to import; this can help avoid the browser failing to find the app.

Get the Client

Windows: Import a Remote Configuration and Connect

Get the Windows client from the panel, follow the installation instructions, and launch the app. On desktop clients, subscriptions are usually managed under “Configuration” or “Subscription.” Return to the panel and select the one-click import option. If your browser asks to open an app, check that it’s the client you just installed before allowing it. Then confirm that the configuration was added in the client.

If the client doesn’t open automatically, copy the link instead. Add a remote configuration in the client, paste the address, save, and update. Once the route list appears, select the configuration and choose a route for your region. Enable the system proxy or tunnel connection as prompted, and approve any required system permissions. Closing the main window may not disconnect you; use the client’s connection control when you want to disconnect.

macOS: Install the Client and Review Network Permissions

Choose the macOS client in the panel, install it, and launch it from Applications. If macOS asks about the app’s source or network permissions, check that it came from the download link in the panel, then follow the system prompts. Don’t change unrelated security settings just because a dialog contains technical terms. If you’re unsure what a prompt means, cancel it and check the panel’s instructions before continuing.

Find the configuration manager or subscription page in the app. Import with the panel’s one-click option, or add a remote subscription and paste the link. After it loads, select a configuration and route, then enable the connection mode provided by the client. If websites work in your browser but not in other apps, check the connection mode and each app’s proxy settings. A menu bar icon alone doesn’t confirm that all traffic is routed. For detailed installation steps, see the macOS setup guide.

Android: Add a Subscription and Allow the VPN Connection

Sign in to the panel to get the Android client. Install it using the instructions for your device, then open the app. Go to configuration or subscription management and import using the panel’s option, or add a remote subscription and paste the link. Save and update, then check that route names appear. Return to the connection screen and select a configuration and a route for your target region.

When you connect, Android may ask whether to allow the app to establish a VPN connection. This system prompt is needed for the client to handle the relevant network traffic. Check the app name before allowing it. Test your target service after connecting. If the connection drops when you lock the screen or switch apps, check whether your system restricts the client’s background activity. Battery and background settings vary by device; see Android background and per-app settings for troubleshooting.

iOS: Get and Import a Configuration from the Panel

Select iOS in the panel and continue using the client option shown for your active plan. The iOS download process differs from desktop installation; use the download page and available options shown in the panel. After installing and opening the app, return to the panel and choose the import option for your client. If prompted to open the client, check the app name before continuing.

To import manually, look for an option such as Subscription, Configuration, or Add from URL in the client. Paste the link copied from the panel and update. The first time you connect, iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Approve the system prompt and return to the client. Seeing routes in the list means the import is complete; you still need to select a route and connect. For detailed instructions, see the iPhone subscription import guide.

Linux: Choose a Compatible Client Using the Panel Instructions

Linux users can get the appropriate client from the panel’s download section and follow its installation instructions, including any required permissions. Import the configuration through a remote subscription and select a route after the update succeeds. System proxy behavior varies across desktop environments. Follow the client’s guidance and check whether your apps are actually using the connection; a running process alone isn’t enough to confirm it.

CONNECT / VERIFY

Verify Your Connection: Check Your Public IP and Test the Service

Return to the client’s home screen and confirm that you’re using the configuration you just imported and updated successfully. Then choose a route for the region you need. If you don’t have a specific region in mind, start by testing a route. If the service requires a particular region, check which regions it supports before choosing a route. A connected status in the client only means the local connection process has started; test the target website to confirm that it works.

Open the IP check page and note your public IP before connecting. Connect and check again to see whether it changes as expected. If the lookup fails, that alone doesn’t mean the connection failed; also try opening your target website. Some connection modes handle traffic from only certain apps or websites, so check the IP using the app you’re testing.

Next, open the service you actually want to use and check that the page loads, you can sign in, and its features work. If the homepage loads but sign-in fails, the cause may be the service account, regional restrictions, or browser session—not necessarily the route. Keep the current route while checking the site’s message. Avoid switching regions repeatedly before you know the cause, since that makes troubleshooting harder.

If the route list is empty, return to configuration settings and check whether the subscription updated. If routes appear but the connection fails, check system network permissions and the client’s connection mode. If only one service doesn’t work, check its supported regions against your selected route. Change one setting at a time and test again to identify what helped. When asking for help, include your operating system, the client step you reached, and any error message. Hide account details and subscription links in screenshots.

Once these checks are complete, repeat the import process on your other devices. U8VPN supports unlimited simultaneous devices; keep an eye on data usage and plan status in your account. The security claim is quantum encryption. Follow the client’s displayed instructions for setup; you don’t need to add unknown parameters to make the wording match.
